The Ötztal Association for Prehistoric Buildings and Local History was grounded in February 1999 for the purpose of the establishment and preservation of a pre historical museum village. The aim of the project, in co-operation with science, is to spread historical knowledge about the Neolithic Age thereby promoting national education.
