Welcome to the virtual Ötzi Village

The Ötztal Association of prehistoric buildings and local history, established in Umhausen has built in collaboration with the community and Umhausen under scientific management of the University of Innsbruck (Institute of Archaeology Univ. Dr. Walter Leitner), the "Ötzi".

An open-air archaeological park, the visitors' lives and way of life in the Neolithic Age, the time Ötzi's meant to illustrate.
